Brook Trout

Brook Trout

Brook trout have a white line on their fins and beautiful markings on their bodies. As one of my favorite poets said: ” Glory be to God for dappled things.” I took this photo at the Great Lakes display at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Ill. Brook trout are in tributary streams to the Great Lakes. Trout fishers wade the streams with their fly rods hoping to catch these beauties. Read more about fishing in the Great Lakes in my book, The Dynamic Great Lakes available at Amazon.com and bn.com and many bookstores.
