The Freshwater Seas on Our Water Planet

September 1, 2012

Planet Earth as viewed from the moon. From this vantage point we can see that our planet is the water planet: the water vapor of white clouds and blue water. The oceans are salt water while the Great Lakes are freshwater. North America’s Great Lakes contain about 20 per cent of the Earth’s fresh surface water. It is important for us to understand how to conserve the Great Lakes. After all, water is life.

Read more about these lakes in my book, The Dynamic Great Lakes. The book is available on Amazon’s Kindle e book reader for $9.95. It is also available in paperback at bookstores such as and many other places.  It is a green book and it has been critically acclaimed.
