Baltimore Oriole

Tis Spring.  The birds are back and thier juicy voices flow through the trees.  We set out orange halves that the orioles and house finches love to eat.  People who get up early have been greeting the early arrivals along Lake Michigan.  These include all sorts of warblers, finches, loons, grebes and the peregrine falcon couple that nest here every year thanks to the nesting box on top of the power plant stack.
